The LTL (Language Teaching and Learning) internship is a teaching opportunity for students to work with a nonprofit organization that prepares members of the Church in Japan to study in a Church-owned college. Participating BYU students teach English while also having an opportunity to live in Japan to practice their Japanese language skills. Prior to going to Japan, participants take a course that trains them on effective language teaching methods. Programs are located throughout the country and are available year round, with most taking place during Spring/Summer.
